इबारतें बेख़ौफ़ हैं
इबादतें बदशक्ल,

मेरे हज की गलियों के नक्श
नाखून से खुरचना चाहा हो किसी ने जैसे

ज़िन्दगी मुझसे ही पलट के सवाल पूछती है
आखिर क्या सोच के किया जो किया,
पन्नों पे लिखाई भी मुश्किल हो रही है
ओस भीगे पत्ते भी कभी जलते हैं भला

इबादतें दिखने लगी हैं अब इबारतों में
बस ज़िन्दगी की हँसी सुनाई देती है

इबारतें (5)

इबादतें कुबूली गयी हैं कुछ,
इबारतें मगर आमादा हैं,
किस्से दर्ज़ करने पे,

मेरे हज की गलियों के नक्श,
बड़े नए नज़र आते हैं,
कच्चे रास्तों पे,
कोरी बजरी बिखेरी है शायद,

पन्ने अपनी गिनतियों में मशगूल हैं,
और इबारतें खुद को कुरेदने में,
इबादतें बेलफ़ज़ हैं,  
मगर गलियां चल रही हैं, बदल रही हैं,

इबादतें नयी उमड़ेंगी मगर,
तब इबारतें भी संजीदा होंगी,
मेरे हज की गलियों के नक्श फिर बदलेंगे,
और पन्नो की सिलवटें फिर बढ़ेंगी!!  
   

Fifth installment of my beloved IBARATEIN series is here - this time after 7 months. A lot happened in this while,  life changing decisions, those which can't be undone! But Ibaratein will go on - no matter what is going on....!!!

इबारतें रोज़ दफन होती हैं
एक के बाद एक
हर रोज़ नयी इबादतें मयस्सर होती हैं

मेरे हज की गलियों के नक्श
कुछ पहचाने से नहीं जाते
और गलियां,
उनका तो नामो निशान भी मुश्किल है

पन्ने जोड़ने पड़ते हैं
बेशुमार सिलवटें बढ़ती जाती हैं
मगर ये डूबती उभरती इबारतें,
मुझे मेरे हज की गलियों की
याद दिलाती हैं

इबारतें दफन होती जाती हैं
मगर इबादतें हर रोज़ नित नए
फन उठाती हैं!!

Ibaratein part 4 is here- yet again it took me almost an year to continue the series!
Writing this series, keeping same words and rhythm in all the four creations till date - i also realized that even the same words can say a thousand different meanings, they can explain different situations, different turmoils, dilemmas and also different people. I am the only lover who is constant in all these but my love has changed - and you can judge it right well if you go through all four!

इबारतें थमीं हैं ,

आजकल,

इबादतें बदलाव पे आमादा हैं ;

मेरे हज की गलियों के नक्श 

शायद किसी पुराने संदूक में,

आराम फ़रमाते होंगे ,

मगर गलियां मुझे याद हैं; 

हर आहट समेटती ,

इन पन्नों की गिनती ख़त्म होने पे है 

मगर ये बदलती इबारतें, 

मुझे मेरे हज की गलियों में 

बार बार धकेल आती हैं;  

इबारतें अब भी थमी हैं, 

इबादतें मगर, 

रोज़ाना बदल रही हैं |

A few words have become family to this series, featuring themselves in every post but the connection keeps on changing! 

I am not sure i will write other parts to "Ibaratein" series or not but am sure if I do, teh thread will be seen, strong and long!

Ibaratein

इबारतें बदल रहीं हैं,
मगर इबादतें वहीँ थमी हैं
मेरे हज की गलियों के नक्श,
आज भी वैसे के वैसे हैं
मगर शायद गलियां बदल रही हैं
इन पन्नो की सिलवट,
आज भी हर आहट समेटती है
पर ये बदलती इबारतें,
हर बार कुछ नए नक्श
उकेर ही देती है;
इबादतें थमी रह जाती हैं
इबारतें बस,
नयी लिख दी जाती हैं !

This is in continuation to another very dear poetic piece of mine! Both are called "Ibaratein" 

When Ibaratein 1 came out of my pen , it struck chords of many people I hardly knew and since then, it was always somewhere deep down in my heart to restore the "connect" by writing a second part to it! 

Hope I did justice to myself!

इबारतें (1)

Ruhaniyatein

कुछ फीकी इबारतें ,

अधूरी इबादतें दोहरा देती हैं ;

मेरे हज की गलियों के नक्श,

नाखून से खुरच के ,

देखो कैसे  बेरहमी  से उघाड़  देती है ;

एक एक सिलवट हर आहट की,

इन पन्नो में दर्ज हैं ,

कुछ बेबाक इबारतें ,

देखो कैसे नए ही नक्श बना देती हैं ;

अधूरी इबादतें अधूरी रह जाती हैं 

इबारतें बस,

नई लिख दी जाती हैं!!
